Travel to Nepal isn’t a cheap travel, but you can search discount tickets to make your travel affordable and enjoy a very good time. There is a myriad of things to see and do in Nepal such as trekking, rafting, biking, shopping, eating and relaxing, but one of the most exciting things to do is to take a jungle safari to immerse yourself in a world that is shrinking and observe endangered and rare wildlife before they too are gone.
Bardia Jungle Cottage
Located in the Royal Bardia National Park you will find Bardia Jungle Cottage. The area is a challenging adventure for those that love nature and wildlife which are in abundance at the park. It was once a reserve for hunting until 1976. In 1988 it was granted the status of a National Park so that the rare ecosystem with its dwindling species such as the tiger and its prey, along with specific flora and fauna could be protected.Enjoy such natural pursuits as going on an Elephant safari, visiting farmlands and villages that are in practically in isolation, take a nature walk to bird watch or bike to black buck region. You can also take a canoe or raft trip. For those that like a little culture there is the Tharu culture programme.
Chitwan Riverside Resort
The Chitwan Riverside Resort can be found adjacent to the Chitwan National Park located along the banks of the Rapti River. It commands fantastic vistas of the Park from the East to the South. The lodgings are simple and the rates are reasonable and there is plenty to see and do. Because Chitwan National Park is a haven for various species of wildlife it is an excellent opportunity to view species such as the mysterious tiger, leopard, bison and the rare sloth bear. The Park is also loaded with wild boar, rhinoceros and deer. Floating serenely down the Rapti River in an authentic dugout canoe will give birders the chance to view up to as many as 450 species of birds that might include the Paradise flycatcher and the Giant Hornbill.
